All prices are correct as of December 2010. The Patchwork Traditional Food Company has the right to change prices and specifications without prior notice. All products shown are as accurate as the website allows. The availability of an item on the website does not guarantee that it is in stock.
We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the circumstances set out below). We are committed to protecting your privacy and we will keep it on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation from time to time that are in place.
We collect information for the following purposes:
- Processing your order;
- For statistical purposes to improve this website and its services to you;
- If you consent, to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you.
The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, fax number if relevant, e-mail address and credit/debit card details. We will not give or sell your details to any other party for any reason unless you specifically ask us to do so.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by telephoning, writing or e-mailing us. If you find any inaccuracy we will delete or correct it promptly.
The Patchwork Traditional Food Company will use only the methods supplied by you for communication with you (e.g. telephone, fax, mail address and/or by e-mail). You agree that you do not object to us contacting you for any of the above purposes whether by telephone, e-mail or in writing and you confirm that you do not and will not consider any of the above as being a breach of any of your rights under the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
We reserve the right to:
Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website; and/or
Change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any changes to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the website.
Purchase of products
Orders must be placed by phone, fax, mail or online. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.
Please note that we can only send frozen products if you accept full responsibility for the condition of the Pate when it is delivered to you. We are unable to send frozen products under frozen or even refrigerated conditions. However, the product is frozen when it leaves us and is packed in a gourmet food box liner, ice and wrapped in bubble wrap to insulate it. However, depending on the transit conditions, and certainly if delivery is delayed, the product may be defrosted on arrival. We therefore advise you to time your order carefully, so that you will use the Pate within 7 days.
For delivery to the UK, orders will be dispatched by 24 hour courier, Tuesday to Thursday inclusive. This means that they can be delivered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We do not dispatch on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. This is to avoid potential weekend delivery problems and customer disappointment. Please give as much lead time for an order as possible. Instructions as to where the order may be left in the absence of a signature can be taken. Directions for non-numbered houses and difficult to find addresses will help with delivery.
Delivery in Europe or elsewhere will take at least 2 to 5 days.
All prices are exclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery charges.
We may alter prices at any time. We try our best to keep price changes to a minimum but sometime it is inevitable. We will aim to update the web site as soon as possible, but may not be able to make changes immediately. If the price of an item you have ordered has increased we will contact you before charging the additional amount.

We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. We may also refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website whether or not the product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
Out of stock items
If any items that you have ordered are not available straightaway for any reason we will contact you as soon as possible to offer you an alternative product or a refund for that product , whichever suits your requirement
We always do our best to respond quickly and fairly to any problem relating to purchases from The Patchwork Traditional Food Company or the service provided. In the event of a problem, call us straight away and we will do whatever is necessary to resolve it as fast as possible. In normal circumstances problems will be responded to within 24 hours, usually the same day we are notified.

Returns and Damages
Upon receipt of your order, you should carefully inspect to make sure that it is intact and that all items ordered are included. You will need to contact us at Patchwork within 24 hours of receiving your delivery to inform us of any damages or shortages in your delivery. The courier must be informed of breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. We will replace damaged or lost goods. To ensure that claims are valid, we may ask for damaged goods to be returned, or photographs to be sent to us showing the damage.
We can only accept items you wish to return if you no longer want them or need them if they are non-perishable i.e. mugs bags etc.
We cannot cancel any orders once they have been despatched.
