The best Paté in Bermuda
We received an email from John, he is former resident of Bermuda who just had to get in touch to find out about our Wild Boar Liver, Black Seal Rum & Ginger Pâté. He had to know how a small food company from North Wales ended up with Black Seal Rum in their pâté.
We were delighted to confirm to him that our pâté used to sell in Bermuda in the Miles Market and on one of our trips there to service the account (life is tough sometimes!) we were asked to produce something with a Bermuda twist.
The drink Dark ‘n’ Stormy caught our eye and the thought of the mix of Black Seal Rum and Ginger Beer reminded us of our pâtés.
Coincidentally, we had someone trying to sell us Wild Boar Liver at the time and we were told a story about how the first people who tried to settle on the Bermuda Islands were frightened off by the wild pigs.
So, the mix of Wild Boar Liver with Black Seal Rum and Ginger was born and has been one of the most popular of our non-chicken liver range for many years.
